It would have been better to package the item in a box: one corner got scratched during shipping.
Excellent service. Item arrived as promised and was exactly what was described in the description.
Bought the Dewalt Small toughsystem 2.0 and they put wrapping plastic instead of placing it into a box like any other company. From buying something new and paying full price got item scratch with some random paint and the "packing plastic" was ripped most of it. First time buying from your site and LAST. I buy from Home Depot and Amazon every week and never seen such a disregard for shipping. Bottom line I bought something new and got something used and your customer service offer me to send it again but no promise if they will wrap it again, SERIOUSLY!!!
The saw arrived with a sizable hole in the bottom of the box and was leaking oil out of the worm gear reservoir, I refilled it to the correct level and I am in the process of checking it again to see if it is going to continue leak, if it does I will have to send it back.
It was a preorder, it arrived before I expected. Thank you. My Pin Nailer works well, I like it a lot.
I got the tool I ordered in a timely fashion. The shipping box was appreciably banged up. The few little "air pods" in the box were deflated. The manufacturers box was beaten up pretty good, but, the tool made it. I suspect if it had been shipped just a little further that the tool may have gotten buggered up also.
I ordered the weed wacker with batteries and and a charger. I only recieved the tool with no battteries or charger
I placed an order on 5 Dec 2020, there were some backordered items from Milwaukee that were part of a special BUNDLE.
The BUNDLE set price and each of the items were listed as individually priced line items on the on-line order history page - a bit confusing. from there I could see what was being worked and what was 'open' but could not find any information on the schedule or estimated date to ship the backordered items.
I called for updates, and some of the items were not showing as available and the agents could not provide an estimate on when they were scheduled to arrive.
IN some cases, two of them were a bit snippy when I asked for updates. I called approximately once per week to check on status. NO Emails were sent, only credit card billing notices without item identification or the order number. To ensure I had the tools for my job tasks and for a few Christmas gifts, I placed individual orders for the same items and they arrived quickly. The final items were shipped last week, received mid-Jan 2021. So now I have backup tools for several of the items.
My issue is the lack of transparency of the CPO agents, I felt like I was imposing on them when I asked for status. One lady told me I should "...just wait and they would send me emails if something changed" as if I was bothering her to inquire on the status of the order.
I have purchased more than $4000 of tools over the past few years from CPO. I feel this is unacceptable from the customer service team. Backorders happen, delayed shipments - a fact of business - being less than honest? that is the mark of a failing and uncaring management team.
My money can go to any number of vendors for the same brand and models, in some cases for less cost- Home Depot has almost everything Milwaukee makes - usually in stock. It seems I might need to use other vendors, the ones that aren't afraid of telling customers the truth and are focused on being transparent and honest. Everyone is stressed these days, but not everyone needs to be condescending and snippy while performing their jobs.
VERY DISAPPOINTED IN CPO.
UPDATE:
An agent from CPO did contact me and we discussed the issues and my review. The agent was friendly and seemed to understand my frustration. They have some work to do and promised to look into how they might be more attentive and improve the status handling for customers. CPO is a fine company and these days everyone is working in stressed and challenging modes. Add the Christmas chaos, shipping issues, well, professionals handle challenges and are prepared. I have faith that CPO will meet the challenges of the markets and the world we are now living in.
I have not needed to purchase from CPO since the review. I will return with updates when I have an opportunity to experience any updates or changes in their process.
The GRL 300 HV looked like new in the case. It performed "like new" EXCEPT in "Line Operation" mode. After setting the orientation in "Point" mode and actuating the scan back and forth motion, it slowly rotates clockwise instead of staying where it first was scanning. This occurs especially in the wide angle setting where in a few minutes it will move full circle back to the original orientation. (This is probably why it wound up being refurbished in the first place.). After testing the accuracy per the instructions, it performed more accurately than the specs, achieving 1/16" accuracy over 100 feet. It's worth keeping.
